Blackdene Mobility Services
Once you make contact with Blackdene Mobility, our aim is to respond within 48 hours.
When we speak with you we can offer free advice over the phone or a home assessment visit.
Once we've spoken with you we will arrange a time to visit that suits you.
Assessment:
At the assessment we'll ask you some simple questions about what it is you want to achieve, such as increasing your independence, getting to the shops, around your garden, going to work, holidays etc. We'll need to know any diagnosis you have and any disabilities that may impact your mobility, posture or functional ability. This will enable us to recommend the most appropriate products to meet your needs, help you function more efficiently, with improved comfort and increased postural support.
We may bring with us a demo model of a wheelchair, scooter or armchair for you to try. We will then discuss any options available (sizes, colours etc), the price and ordering process if you wish to go ahead and order from us.
There is no obligation to order.
If you're happy to order any product we recommend, then we'll take a 50% deposit (bank transfer, cheque or cash) and your product will be ordered.
Once we have your product in stock we'll call you to arrange final payment of the balance, delivery and handover.
At delivery/handover, we will ensure any adjustments needed are made and make sure you know how to use your new product. We also offer an annual service on scooters and wheelchairs.
